Nana Asuo Gyebi is an ancient Akan river deity (obosum), originally from Northern Ghana, who is a healer and protector of the Nana Akonnedi Shrine in Kubease, Larteh, in Ghana, West Africa.

He is a healer, who offers protection and executes justice. He helps those who seek his help.
